This summer, the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky will celebrate thirty years since the opening of the Bowling Green Assembly Plant, where all Corvettes are built.
Prior to 1981, Corvettes were made in St. Louis, Missouri except for a few early models assembled in Michigan. As part of the celebration, this year's National Corvette Homecoming, held at the museum from July 14-16, will feature cars from each year of production at the Bowling Green factory.
Of course, all Corvettes are welcome to the Homecoming - they're just making a special fuss over 1981-2011 cars. The Bowling Green Corvette Examiner has the story.
