GM Drops Goodwrench After 40 Years

Follow me on:

GM GoodwrenchMr. Goodwrench has been part of GM's team for just about 40 years, but that's all coming to an end in February when each GM brand will offer its own parts and service.USA Today has the story (along with just about every other news outlet in the country).

Realistically, this change probably doesn't mean very much at all - GM won't change the parts it carries or the way you get service at dealerships. This is just a marketing name change, although it leaves me wondering why they would drop a name with that much brand loyalty behind it?
