Fresh from a rain-dampened weekend in Detroit for the Woodward Dream Cruise, the attention of the Corvette world now turns east to Pennsylvania, where the huge Corvettes at Carlisle event takes place starting tomorrow and stretching through Sunday.
Corvettes at Carlisle is a giant Corvette show and gathering held each year in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. This year's theme is "Celebrating America Through Corvettes" and among other things, the organizers plan to create a huge United States flag using red, white, and blue Corvettes. That'll be something to see!
Good luck getting a hotel room within 100 miles of the event at this late date, but if you're in the area, or have friends in eastern Pennsylvania, you owe it to yourself to stop in. Word on the street is that Corvette racing legend John Fitch will be in attendance at the Corvette auction at this event.
