I came across a news item today that got me thinking, and made me proud of our Corvette community. The good folks at the Crown Point Corvette Club in Indiana hosted a Corvette and Chevy car show a couple weeks ago, and raised $2,300 for their local food bank. What a great way to show off your Corvette and do some good in your community at the same time!
With the current state of the economy and unemployment, charities like food banks need all the help they can get. We're fortunate to be Corvette owners, and if we can get people to donate some cash (or give some ourselves) by putting our 'Vettes on display, that's an easy way to make a positive difference in our communities. There's a car show coming up this weekend in your area - I guarantee it. Why not find one that's benefiting a worthy cause and take your Corvette there to help out?
